Winston-Salem chamber moving
The Winston-Salem Chamber of Commerce announced on Monday that it will move two blocks from its current location at 601 W. 4th St. to a new office suite at 411 W. 4th St. after renovations are complete in December. The chamber will occupy the entire second floor of the building, which will be renamed Winston-Salem Chamber Plaza, and will have a prominent first-floor entrance along 4th Street.
“Since our founding in 1885 the chamber has been an essential resource for the community,” Gayle Anderson, president and CEO of the chamber, said in a prepared statement, “so maybe it is only appropriate that we are now literally the 411 for Winston-Salem.”
