Monkey Joe’s, described in a press release as an “inflatablesfilled indoor play and party center,” holds its grand opening in the Jefferson Village Shopping Center, located at 1570 Highwoods Boulevard in Greensboro, on Saturday at 10 a.m. Owner Angelo Pettis describes the facility as “a family-friendly destination that provides both enjoyment and exercise for kids.”

Professional networking event draws dozens of companies

A Triad After Work networking event takes place in the show room of Malave Granite and Marble, located at 1500 Industrial Ave. in Greensboro, on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. The first 200 people will receive two free drink tickets and free food provided by Southern Foods. Amani Home Care, UNCG and the NC Black Repertory Co. will be among the dozens of enterprises represented at the event.

Dewey’s to announce brand acquisition

Winston-Salem-based Dewey’s Bakery is holding a press conference to announce the acquisition of a new brand at its Thruway Shopping Center. The announcement is scheduled for 2 p.m.
