UNCG security prepares for bargain sale

In an attempt to divert material from the landfill following the semester-end emptying of campus, UNCG hosts a sale of items discarded by students, most of which are items of clothing. The sale goes down in Cone Ballroom in Elliott University Center on June 1 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. All items are priced at 50 cents. A notice for the sale warns that “civil and polite conduct is expected, and campus police will be present to remove anyone who pushes others or acts in a disruptive manner.”

Unclaimed treasures will be donated to B-Thrifty for reuse.
