Winston-Salem police hold job fair

The Winston-Salem Police Department is holding a job fair at the Beaty Public Safety Training and Support Center, located at 1200 N. Patterson Ave., on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Job seekers can meet with police representatives to learn about sworn and non-sworn positions in investigative services, field services, support services, forensic services, SWAT, the gang unit, the bomb squad, traffic enforcement, records, communications, evidence management and recruiting.

Resume workshop offered to women

Heather Schneck, the career center coordinator at Goodwill Industries of North Carolina, leads a resume workshop at the Women’s Resource Center, located at 628 Summit Ave. in Greensboro, on Thursday from 10 a.m. to noon.
