‘SUSPICIOUS DEATH’ ON KERSEY STREET
Jeremiah Bailey, 24, was found dead by gunshot wound in his apartment on Kersey Street in Greensboro on Nov. 26. Police have determined that the death was a homicide, but no motive or suspects have been identified.
BREAK-IN ON EUCLID STREET
Winston-Salem Police Officers responded to a call about a house breaking on Euclid Street on Nov. 29. Three black males reportedly kicked open Carolyn White’s front door and demanded money. They ran through the house looking for things to steal, armed with a long rifle and a handgun. White was not injured. The suspects were last seen running out the front door and getting into a white four-door Cadillac with no hubcaps.
Greensboro police responded to a call about on Gant Street on Sunday. When they got there, they found John Crisp, 55, had been assaulted. He was taken to Cone hospital for treatment of his injuries. Gary Burgess, 48, was taken into custody and charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury. His secured bond was set at $5,000.
Greensboro Police responded to a call about shots fired on Kingston Road a little after 2 a.m. on Monday. When they got there, police discovered 30-yearold Orlando Terrance Jackson lying on the driveway. Jackson was pronounced dead by EMS. Police had no suspects at press time.
