by Jeff Laughlin

The best and worst of Triad police blotters, as compiled

THE WAITING IS THE HARDEST PART

On March 29, an armed white man, around 6 feet tall, in a bomber jacket walked into the Rite Aid on Randleman Road in Greensboro demanding Oxycodone. While the pharmacist was filling the order, the man left the store. Nothing was reported stolen. I hear you, bro. Pharmacists take forever.

JESUS SAVES, EVEN ON HIS HOLIDAY

Winston-Salem police officers responded to a stabbing at 2831 Piedmont Circle on Sunday. William Antione Foster was treated after being stabbed in the back and chest multiple times. Police believe Foster knew the person who stabbed him. Authorities expect him to survive. If he does not survive, authorities do not expect him to rise from the dead after three days time and cleanse the world of sin.

YOU HAD TO BE A BIG SHOT, DIDN’T YOU?

Greensboro police responded to a shooting at Young’s Mill Road near Sharon Donna Drive on March 28. A female driver had a car pull in front of her and stop. A black man, 18 to 26 years old, 5-feet-8 to 5-feet-10, wearing a dark hoodie, jeans and a black or blue hat exited the car and fired multiple times into the victim’s vehicle. He hit the victim once, leaving minor injuries, before driving away. If you have any information on the marksman in question, call CrimeStoppers at 336.373.1000.
