BAGEL ROBBERY

Officers with the Winston Salem Police Department responded to a reported Armed Robbery of a business (Bagel Station) located at 129 Oakwood Drive. The described suspect entered the business armed with a silver handgun. The suspect demanded an undisclosed amount of currency from personnel inside the business. The suspect then left the area running north from the business. Personnel from the business were not injured during the incident. A K-9 track was conducted. Detectives from the Winston-Salem Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division will continue to investigate this incident.

WALLET TAKEN

On January 6, 2015, at 12:55 a.m. Officers responded to the area of 218 Wind Road in reference to a stabbing. Officers discovered the victim, outside the apartment building suffering from a cut to his left hand. The victim stated he was robbed by two subjects in which one was armed with a handgun. During the robbery, the victim produced a knife in which a struggle ensued between the two suspects and the victim over the knife. One of the suspects wrestled the knife away from the victim and took his wallet. The victim sustained a minor cut to his left hand. He was treated and released from Moses Cone Hospital with no further injuries. The first suspect is described as a black male approximately 20 years old. The second suspect is described as a black male, in his 20’s, wearing a dark jacket. The two suspects suspect fled the area in a silver four door vehicle. The name and address of the victim is being temporally withheld.

CRAIGSLIST BANDITS

On January 5, 2015, at 8:35 p.m. Officers responded to the Family Dollar located at 2101 Randleman Road in reference to a robbery. Officers discovered two victims in the parking lot who stated that they had been robbed at gunpoint during the sale of a PlayStation 4 that had been arranged on Craigslist. No one was injured and no other items were taken. The suspects were described as two black males, wearing black jackets, last seen running towards Erwin Street. The investigation is ongoing. The names and addresses of the victims are being temporally withheld. !
