Dewey’s Bakery Blends Solve All Your Problems

If you’ve ever had a hard time deciding between treats orice cream at Dewey’s well now you can have your ice cream and cake and eat ittoo.

How is that for sweet treats?

Dewey’s recently introduced Bakery Blends at their ThruwayCenter and Reynolda Manor Shopping Center locations. It’s “Fresh baked meetsice cream,” a 50/50 blend of some of the bakery’s popular baked goods withsmall batch ice creams. The ice cream is fresh churned, then they fold inpieces of cake, cookies or other treats. You’ll find flavors like MoravianSugar Cake, Pink Lemonade Cake, Oatmeal Sandwich, S’mores, Banana Pudding, RedVelvet Caked, Salted Caramel Cake, Birthday Cake, plus more. During holidays,they’ll introduce seasonal flavors like Moravian Cookie or Peppermint Stick.The blends are available in the ice cream case by the cup or cone as well ashand-packed pints and quarts.

We enjoyed the benefit of sampling. Tough work. We can’tdecide which is our favorite, but there’s something about the Oatmeal cookie—and the Pink Lemonade Cake (because it tastes like springtime and first grade).
