How Jack Got Scared

The Greensboro Children’s Theatre will present How Jack Got Scared June 8-10 at the Huggins Performance Center in Odell Auditorium at Greensboro College, 814 W. Market St. This original play by Stephen Hyers, City Arts Drama Center managing director, is based on the Grimm fairy tale with an Appalachian twist. Performances will be held on Friday at 7:30 p.m., Saturday at 2:05 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2:05 p.m. The cast includes children in grades 4-9. The storyline is about a boy, who can’t get scared, but wants to, and he keeps running into other people, who are plenty scared.

General admission is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and $5 for children.
