Greensboro Issues RFP for Downtown Business Improvement

The City of Greensboro has issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) from qualified and experienced contractors for Downtown Business Improvement District Program Management Services. Programs span five areas: economic development, planning and development, marketing and communications, public space management, and event management. The contract shall be for a three-year term with two potential one-year renewals. These services are funded with special Municipal Service District tax funds anticipated at approximately $600,000 annually, subject to tax receipts. To view public input collected through the City’s Downtown BID Needs Assessment Survey used to inform the Request for Proposals, visit www.greensboro-nc.gov/DowntownBid. To participate in the event, contractors must register in the City’s online Greensboro Electronic Procurement System (GEPS). Prospective contractors registered in GEPS can submit their response to Event #8109 through the supplier portal on this GEPS screen. There will be a mandatory informational meeting conference at 2 pm Monday, March 14 in room UG12, (Purchasing Conference Room) on Level UG of Melvin Municipal Office Building, 300 W.
