Born in Fayetteville, North Carolina and a graduate of Howard University with a Masters in Social Work, Kenyatta Johnson is redefining guidance and self-love in the Triad. With a Masters in Social Work, Johnson started a Life Coaching Firm, Living a Favored Life in 2009.

“I guide my clients through solutionfocused exercises helping them identify goals and problems and then look at how to accomplish their long and short term goals or correct the problem,” Johnson explains. After founding Living a Favored Life, Johnson founded I Rock My Curves The Best, were she showcases curvy women in large productions in the Triad. “I also work with a lot of women to build confidence, self-esteem, teach self-worth and women empowerment especially those who struggle with weight and unleashed potential. We use modeling, dance and performing arts to empower women teaching them to unleash their greatness,” Johnson says.

Johnson has been featured in TLC and the Winston-Salem Journal for her various accomplishments. Through her organizations she also arranges several events during the year where her team goes into the community and feeds the homeless, provides clothing, toiletries, free hugs and works with many women in abusive situations. Annually, Johnson hosts the Veterans Annual Holiday Dinner, that dinner will be held Dec. 19 at the VFW at 2605 S. Elm-Eugene St. in Greensboro.
