Local Talent: Aimee Holliday

Oh, to be young, talented and politically connected. Yes, this week’s Page Three model, Aimee Holliday, is indeed a “distant cousin” to current Greensboro Mayor Keith Holliday. “I see him at family gatherings,” she says, “but that’s about it.” The 27-year-old says she’s lived in Level Cross her whole life, but these days works in Greensboro as a hairstylist at the punnishly named salon Girls Cut ‘n’ Up. Her specialty, she says, is “color, definitely,” and in her eight years or so in the business she’s had her share of unusual requests. “I’ve had people want some pink or some green,” she says, “but that’s not really bizarre anymore… that’s normal.” She’s only recently begun her tenure at the Adams Farm salon, but she’s savvy enough to know how to get people… okay, men… in the door. “”All the girls at this place are very attractive,” she says. “Can we say something about that?”
