Local Talent: Julie Gann

JulieGann used to live in Arkansas. She has modeled in motorcycle magazinesand has been to the big rally in Sturgis, SD. She has a wicked sinusinfection. And she plans to be at the inaugural YES! Weekly pool partyon Saturday, July 26, where she’ll be celebrating her 23 rd birthday.

Anythingelse you need to know? How about this: She’s on an educational hiatusafter studying speech pathology at the University of Arkansas, andplans to continue at UNCG in January. Until then she’s juststarted working at Gold’s Gym at the Palladium in High Point as afitness consultant, a job that, she says, requires three to fiveworkouts a week. We posed her on intern Jesse Kiser’s bike outside ouroffices to remind her of her recent past as a model for Biker Beautiesmagazine. “I loved it,” she says of the work. “That was my kind ofcrowd: just laid back and fun.”
