MUSIC FESTIVAL GUIDE 2014

The summer sun has risen over our winter-sick souls. There’s no better way to celebrate than to break out the tickets to your favorite music festival! From now through September there will be tons of festivals featuring all kinds of music by local and widely known artists and bands. Some local favorites over the years have been Greensboro’s annual Fun Fourth Festival celebrating Independence Day with fireworks, food and partying to your favorite tunes and Winston-Salem’s Rock the Block celebrating the end of summer. Charlotte features Festival in the Park and Carolina Rebellion. We have something for beach lovers with the Carolina Beach Music Festival on Pleasure Island and the Cape Fear Blues Festival in Wilmington. Mayfest is located in beautiful Pilot Mountain and the Houstonfest in Galax, Va. Want a private event? Put yourself on the list at Foxfest. Do you like watermelon, apples, potatoes or pickles? Yep, there’s a festival for that. From Metal to Bluegrass and Gospel to Pop, we have what you need and trust us, you will not be disappointed.
