Meagan Fischer

Talk about talent that is local. It doesn’t get much more ‘“from around here’” than this week’s Page Three model, Meagan Fischer. She’s lived in Greensboro since she was 4 years old, graduated with Western Guilford High’s Class of ’96 and went on to study at Elon College back before it became hifalutin’ Elon University. She decided to stick around, giving lie to the rumor that all the ‘“good’” graduates leave within hours of getting their diplomas, and she’s making this part of central North Carolina a better place as a marketing specialist for Goodwill Industries in Guilford, Randolph, Rockingham, Alamance and Caswell counties. Think of her the next time you buy someone else’s shirt. When she’s not working Meagan likes to look at houses and practice the ancient art of bellydancing ‘— she just finished classes at Studio 318 in Greensboro and is ready to learn some more. ‘“It’s incredibly empowering,’” she says. We captured her image outside the Wachovia Tower on Elm Street, where they’ve turned off the water fountain and replaced the pools with flowerbeds.
