Welcome to this week’s YES! Weekly Pop Quiz. This week we address questions to members of the NC General Assembly. In the spirit of the holiday season, there are no right or wrong answers.

Rep. Alma Adams (D-Guilford) 1. I guess getting the economy back on track, jobs and unemployment.

2. Just to be alive. I’ve been to so many funerals of friends. So I’m just grateful for my health and my life.

3. I hope that we will be able that people’s quality of life will be enhanced. That depends on a number of things — to get work, take care of their families and to be able to prosper.

Rep. Dale Folwell (R-Forsyth) 1. The invisible. Meaning the debt crisis, the brain crisis, and

the health crisis, and how the funding for these three things are going to crowd out everything else that people care about in state government.

2. I feel thankful that I wake up every morning with two main thoughts, one being how to keep my feet on God’s trail, and the second one is how can I take more intellectual risk and more policy risk to fix everything I’ve talked about in the first question.

3. That I can get people to see the invisible and that I can help them understand that whether it’s the tea party

movement or the occupy movement that there’s a lot of energy there that can be used to connect dots of things that they have in common.

Rep. Bill McGee (R-Forsyth) 1. Jobs, jobs and jobs. 2. Freedom to worship in this state. Freedom from coercion in your government. Freedom to expect honesty and good service by people you deal with in this state.

3. That the economy will grow and that the unemployment will come down and real wages will go up.
