JULY 5 WILL BE ONE HECK OF A “PEACHY” DAY AT THE GREENSBORO FARMERS MARKET
The Greensboro Farmers Curb Market will host Peach Day, July 5, from 8am- 12pm. There will be a peach cobbler and ice cream tasting with guest chef Mary Lacklen preparing the peach cobbler and the peach ice cream homemade by Phillip’s Farm. The peaches will be donated by Phillip’s Farm and Chappell’s Peaches, and the flour is provided by The Old Mill of Guilford, all regular vendors at the farmer’s market. There will also be cobbler for purchase – $8 per container with all proceeds to benefit the Greensboro Farmers Curb Market. Starting at 9am, Greensboro-based folk/indie rock guitarist and singer Laura Jane Vincent will be performing. Picnic table seating is provided, and patrons are encouraged to bring seating as well.
