YEW TREE GALLERY HOSTS A BOOK SIGNING FOR GREENSBORO NOVELIST DENISE TUCKER Yew Tree Gallery at 604 S. Elm Street, Greensboro, will host a book signing during First Friday, July 3rd for Dr. Denise Tucker.  Dr. Tucker’s first mystery novel, Keeping House: A Madame President Mystery has just been published by Bluewater Press.  The cover art was created by Greensboro artist Richard Phillips whose works are available at Yew Tree Gallery. Keeping House is the first in a series of seven mysteries, each one set in a famous house, villa or castle around the world.  The story features the White House and the rise of America’s first female president, and includes scenes from the UNC Greensboro campus and Battleground Park. The book will be available at Yew Tree Gallery on July 3, 2009 from 6:00 – 9:00 during the book signing.  It can also be purchased from the publisher at www.bluewaterpress.com or at www.Amazon.com.  You can follow the series on the author’s website, www.thehousemyteries.com. Yew Tree Gallery is a subsidiary of Ambleside Gallery, and is home to 16 painters who work in a varienty of media and styles, including oils, acrylic, pastel, pen and ink, and watercolor.  The gallery also features pottery.  Opened in March of 2008, the gallery is open Wednesday and Thursday from 11:00 – 5:00 and Friday and Saturday from 11:00 – 6:00,  or by appointment.    For more information call 790-8703.
