American Heart Association Announces Kimberly S. Roberts As 2016-2017 Guilford County Go Red for Women Chair
Thursday, October 27, 2016 – The American Heart Association is proud to announce Kimberly S. Roberts of Crumley Roberts, Attorney at Law, as the Chair for the 2016-2017 Guilford County Go Red For Women Campaign. As chair, she will be focusing on empowering women to put their heart health first.
“A woman’s heart runs deep. It holds families together. It worries about the future. It keeps 800 balls at play all at the same time. Between children, family, work, friends and her community, the health of a woman’s heart is almost always last on her priority list,” shares Kimberly S. Roberts, Vice President of Cultural Development and Creator of Crumley Roberts Employee Wellness (CREW). “As the 2016-2017 Guilford Go Red For Women Chair, I am striving to encourage, support and empower women to embrace all that is in their hearts while also making sure their hearts are as healthy and strong as they can be.”
As part of her dedication, she will be traveling throughout the State of North Carolina this year to educate women of all ages on ways they can live longer, healthier and happier lives free from heart disease. Heart disease and stroke are 80% preventable with education, awareness and only a few lifestyle changes.
“Using the American Heart Association’s Life’s Simple Seven as guidelines, The Little Red Jumpsuit tour offers an opportunity for frank and open discussion about the challenges and the joys we face as women on our individual journeys to wellness,” shares Roberts.
