For this week’s Page Three shoot, we lured photographer Chris Cooke out from behind the lens and put him through the paces. This will have to do until he finds more work. “I am looking for a job,” he states unequivocally. “Pretty much I am paying the bills with photography right now… barely.” Cooke was raised in Greensboro, but born in Las Vegas, which gives him something of a cultural cachet. And he has big plans. “I’m starting to do a lot of collaborative work with other people,” he says. He’s working on portraits with John Ryan Flaherty and has some business with a music promotional company, Crown Prestige, in the pipeline. “I’m getting ready to do a big clothing line project for the first week in February,” he adds. “There’s probably gonna be like ten or fifteen models there.” Sweet.
