North Carolina high school students between the ages of 14 and 19 are invited to participate in an audition for the NC Symphony Young All- Stars.

The Blind Tiger's schedule shows an Aug. 14 booking for Kudzu Wish and Decoration Ghost. The common denominator between the two bands is bass player Tim LaFollette, who was diagnosed with ALS earlier this year. To the best of my knowledge, this will be the first time Kudzu Wish has played together since their final show before officially breaking up in 2005.
