Big time golf is hitting the Triad beginning today for the Wyndham Championship! Sedgefield Country Club once again hosts this exciting event. Scott Pilgrim VS. The World premier

The final four Street Fighters have been narrowed down by the video game tournament’s first round that took place on Aug. 7. At 11:30 p.m. they’ll play against each other on the big screen. The winner gets $100. Then at midnight be the first to see Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. Everyone who attends the premier will have a chance to win a 32-inch flat screen TV!

Start on the vine

All proceeds from the event will benefit North Carolina cancer patients through Carolina Cancer Services. Tickets are $20 for students, $50 in advance and $75 at the door.

Ravens football

The Ravens will take on the Camp Lejeune Bulldogs in the last game of the home season. Live! at your library

Main St., High Point; 336.883.8512; www.highpointpubliclibrary.com; 12 p.m.; FREE Live! at Your Library, a local musicians showcasing event is being held today at the High Point Public Library from 12 to 1 p.m. Local harpist, Linda Selleck will put on a show that’s free and open to the public. If you’re interested in playing, bring a demo CD and fill out an application to begin the process of approval. About 1,500 visitors pass through the library each day, making it a great venue for musicians to gain exposure!
