Robbed in the driveway

Two black men in their early twenties with slim builds robbed Lamar McKinley Tillery, 20, while he was working on his vehicle in his driveway on Green Point Drive in Greensboro on Nov. 19. The thieves worked in unison with one acting as a lookout while the second robbed Tillery of his wallet, car keys, and vehicle DVD player at gunpoint. Emzel Food Mart robbery

Two black men driving a gold Lexus SUV robbed the Emzel Food Mart at 904 Gregory St. in Greensboro on Nov. 20. At about 4:20 p.m. the vehicle pulled up to the front of the building where one man got out and the other stayed in the car. The man in the store demanded cash from the clerk who complied. The men then fled the scene of the crime once the cash was obtained. No one was injured and anyone with information is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 336.373.1000.

Deliveryman robbed, assaulted

Greensboro police responded to a report of a man being robbed last Thursday at 212 Berryman St. Suresh Nambiar, 46, was delivering food for GoldenGate Pizza around 11:30 p.m. when he was approached by two black men armed with handguns wearing black pants, one in a red shirt and one in a green shirt with a ski mask. The man in the ski mask demanded money from Nambiar who said he had none. The ski mask suspect then punched Nambiar in the jaw and both took the food and fled on foot.
