Christopher eric Donaldson, 38, of Glenside Drive was arrested by the Guilford county sheriff’s office on two counts of statutory rape on July 28. An investigation by the Randolph county sherriff’s office into a statutory rape of a 13-year old girl solicited by internet determined Donaldson to be a suspect. A warrant and subsequent search of Donaldson’s residence by both the Guilford and Randolph county sheriff’s offices determined that a sex offense occurred, and Donaldson was arrested. Donaldson is currently in Guilford county jail on $50,000 bond.

The investigation is ongoing and Donaldson could face additional charges in both counties.


louie lamonte cozart, 35, and christopher Antonio kelly, 23, both of Winston-salem, were arrested on charges of armed robbery and two counts of kidnapping on Aug. 5, in relation to the Aug. 2 armed robbery of the express Food mart on south main street. After further investigation, on Aug. 6, both men were charged in six other armed robberies in Forsyth county that occurred between July 31 and Aug. 2. kelly faces additional charges of kidnapping and attempted 1 st degree sexual offense. Both cozart and kelly’s trial dates are set for Aug. 20.

College road McDonald’s robbed

The mcDonald’s on college Road in Greensboro was robbed at about 5 a.m. on Aug. 7. Two black men approached the drive-thru window and requested an order. The men then assaulted the drive-thru attendant multiple times and gained entrance into the building through the window. one man assaulted the attendant while the other pulled a handgun and demanded money. The men obtained an undetermined amount of money and fled in opposite directions; one towards Quaker Village and the other towards Guida Drive. Both men are described as being 20-25 years old with slim builds. one man was reportedly was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with a bandana over his face; the other was wearing a brown coat.
