GREENSBORO MAN SHOT IN THE LEG
Greensboro police reported that Chastain Dickens was shot in the leg while standing at the 900 block of Sullivan Street on July 20. Dickens told police that the suspect was a short, black man who fled in gold four-door vehicle. Dickens’ injuries are non-life threatening and the investigation is ongoing.
VICTIMS IN BRANDONSHIRE HOMICIDE IDENTIFIED
Greensboro police have identified the victims of a Brandonshire Court homicide as of July 21. Joshua Samuel Prago, 43; Jason Rcom, 6; and Hdingh Nie are the previously unidentified shooting victims. Hoanh Rcom is currently being charged for the murders of all three. He is being held in Guilford County Jail without bond.
BANK ROBBERY IN GREENSBORO
The New Bridge Bank located at Battleground Avenue was robbed on July 19. According to Greensboro police, the suspect handed the bank teller a demand note and left with an undisclosed amount of money. No injuries were reported. The suspect was described as a light-skinned black male, 35 years old, over six feet tall and wearing a light colored chef’s coat and green baseball hat. ROBBERY AT THE SCOTTISH INNS
Greensboro police reported that a man was a victim of armed robbery at the Scottish Inns on Greenhaven Drive on July 23. The victim, Rashaun Baldwin, told police that three suspects approached him while he was in the breezeway of the motel. One suspect displayed a handgun and demanded money. After receiving property from Baldwin, the three fled on foot. The investigation is ongoing.
