ROBBED IN COLISEUM PARKING LOT

Michael Allen Kick, 22 was walking across the parking lot at Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum after leaving the Wilco-Hess station after midnight on Oct. 4. Kick told Winston-Salem police that three black males in their late teens or early twenties followed him, pushed him to the ground and beat him before taking his wallet. The three assailants ran toward 27 th Street. Police conducted a K-9 track, but did not locate the assailants. Kick reportedly refused medical treatment. KIDNAPPING AT SCOTTISH INN

Steven Lamonte Smith, 39, was reportedly seen forcibly entering Room 259 at Scottish Inn on Greenhaven Drive in Greensboro at 4:33 p.m. on Saturday. Police said Smith assaulted a female acquaintance and forced her into a silver 2003 Dodge Ram pickup. Police located the two at an address on Charlotte Street at 6:48 p.m. and arrested Smith, whom they charged with felony breaking and entering, injury to real property and felonious restraint. The woman was unharmed when police found her.

GLASS ON GLASS

Sometime early Sunday morning a red SUV or van backed into the glass storefront at Aaron’s Sales and Lease in the Northside shopping center on Patterson Avenue in Winston-Salem to break into the store, surveillance video showed. The impact also shattered the back window of the vehicle. A suspect, described as a 40-year-old white man wearing a blue and red striped shirt and blue jeans reportedly got out of the vehicle and grabbed a television before fleeing. The surveillance video indicated that the driver did not get out of the vehicle.

GOOD TIMES, BAD TIMES

Greensboro police officers responding to a shooting call at Platinum Cabaret on Mary Street in Greensboro learned that the shooting victim had left in a private vehicle. The police later located Sherman White at a local hospital. Whit said he had been robbed at gunpoint by two light-skinned black men as he was leaving the club. After taking his property, the two men reportedly shot White. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 336.373.1000.
