On the phone with 911 when robber breaks down door An unidentified woman was inside her home on Prytania Road in Winston-Salem on the morning of Feb. 15 when she observed Rakin Galloway get out of a car driven by Cornell Hooks and walk up to her residence. The woman told police that Galloway knocked on her door and rang the doorbell continuously as Hooks circled the neighborhood in the car. The woman was on the phone with 911 when Galloway kicked open the front door. Once Galloway saw the resident he fled from the house. The Winston- Salem Police Department’s SWAT team spotted Galloway walking between houses and then getting into Hooks’ car. The SWAT team stopped the car and arrested the two men. Both men are charged with felonious breaking and entering and conspiracy. They were held at the Forsyth County Jail on $10,000 bonds.

Suspicions confirmed Winston-Salem police officers with the crime reduction task force stopped Dominique Marquis Urena and Cedric Jermaine Bush in the Parkview area around noon on Feb. 15, and discovered they were carrying a Wii, a PSP and a digital camera in a bag, but police could not link the items to a crime at the time. Later, officers discovered that the items had been stolen from 31-year-old Herika Miller, who lives on Baxter Road. The Wii, PSP and digital camera were recovered from a pawnshop. Police located and arrested Urena and Bush, charging them with breaking and entering, possession of stolen property and obtaining property by false pretense. Urena was also charged with resisting arrest.

Delivery driver robbed An unidentified Dominos Pizza delivery driver told Greensboro police that he was delivering pizza to Sedgefield Square Apartments on Bernau Avenue at about 9 p.m. on Feb. 15 when he was approached by two black men, one of whom carried a long gun. The two men robbed the delivery driver and fled into the apartment complex. The man with the firearm is described as 5-feet-10 and in his twenties while the other is described as 6 feet tall. Both were reportedly wearing dark clothing and scarves over their faces. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 336.373.1000.
