Embodiment Artists Reception

Friday, March 5 from 5:30-9pm(First Friday) Embodiment Artists Reception: Join Green Hill Center and exhibiting artists with music by alternative gypsy folk band Crystal Bright and the Silver Hands and baroque rock band Silver Hill Mine. Embodiment presents nine artists who investigate the body as a site of transformative identity and mediation. Many employ non-traditional materials and processes to merge the conceptual with the sensual. Through arresting multimedia installations, photographs, and sculptural works in clay, fiber and metal, visitors will be able to explore changing conceptions of the body, and how a sensorial experience informs a psychological state.
