Details:

The SoloS Unit is playing Greensboro's Blind Tiger, located at 2115 Walker Avenue, this Friday, November 14, at 10:00 p.m.

SoloS, who's sound is a blend of hip-hop, jazz and soul, has shared the stage with George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic, The Roots, Common, Wu-Tang, Guru's Jazzmatazz, and The Gap Band to name just a few. Our most recent studio album Electric City (mixed by Stan Wallace - Nas, Luther Vandross, Beyonce) features performances by Allman Brothers/Aquarium Rescue Unit Bassist Oteil Burbridge, Luther Vandross drummer Ivan Hampden, Brotherhood of Groove saxophonist Geoff Vidal, and Bjorkestra vocalist Becca Stevens. The group has grown from hosting a Monday night jam session in downtown Winston-Salem that became the hottest weekly show in town, (running over three years to a packed house) to being the hottest live hip-hop/jazz/soul group on the east coast.
