Wednesday — Republican NC Senate District 27 candidate Jeff Hyde appears at Wine Styles in the Shops at Friendly Center in Greensboro at 6 p.m. Clay Howard provides music on acoustic guitar.

Thursday — Democratic US House District 5 candidate Billy Kennedy holds a meetand-greet event at Inter-Section Galleries and Studios, located at 629 N. Trade St. in Winston-Salem, from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

Saturday — Winston-Salem/Forsyth County School Board candidates Elisabeth Motsinger, Jim Toole and Donald Dunn and other Forsyth County Democratic candidates appear at the Forsyth Team 4 Kids Fundraiser at Blessings Project, located at 823 Reynolda Road in Winston-Salem from 7 to 9 p.m.

Oct. 11 — Republican NC Senate District 32 candidate Nathan Jones will be at the Forsyth Victory Center, located at 2110 Cloverdale Drive in Winston-Salem, from 6 to 9 p.m.

Oct. 12 — Jeff Hyde and other Guilford and Forsyth candidates for state legislative office will be available to greet voters at the State Farm Field Office, located at 1501 Highwoods Boulevard, Suite 302 in Greensboro 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Oct. 12 — Jon Hardister and other candidates appear at a candidate forum hosted by the High Point Republican Women at Guilford County GOP Headquarters, located at 3950 W. Market St. in Greensboro, at 6:30 p.m.
