Wednesday — Guilford County Unity Forum hosts a candidate forum at the Greensboro Historical Museum at 6 p.m. Confirmed candidates include Democrat Brad Miller and Republican Bill Randall, who are seeking election to the US House District 13 seat; Democrat Gladys Robinson, Republican Trudy Wade and independent Bruce Davis, who are seeking election to the NC Senate District 28 seat; along with Republican BJ Barnes and Democrat Phil Wadsworth, who are seeking the office of Guilford County Sheriff.

Friday — Democratic US Senate candidate Elaine Marshall will be the featured speaker at the forum about energy, the environment, civil rights and healthcare at New Goshen United Methodist Church in Greensboro on Friday at 4 p.m.

Saturday — Republican US Senate candidate Richard Burr appears at the Guilford County GOP Headquarters, located at 3950 W. Market St. in Greensboro, from 1 to 2:30 p.m.

Oct. 26 — Republican NC House District 57 candidate Jon Hardister is the guest speaker at the Greater Greensboro Republican Women’s Club luncheon at the Starmount Forest Country Club in Greensboro from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
