Contest at Gibb’s Hundred Brewing Company Combines Two of the Best Things in Life: Dogs and Craft Beer
To celebrate the Dog Days of Summer, Greensboro’s most canine-friendly local brewery, Gibb’s Hundred Brewing Company, is launching a social media contest now through Labor Day weekend that might land your pooch’s likeness – as well as his or her name – on a future delicious craft brew.
If you want your furry best friend to inspire the next award-winning craft beer, all you have to do is take a photo of him or her at Gibb’s Hundred’s new location (504 State Street) and post it on Instagram or Facebook with the hashtag #dogsofgibbs, and don’t forget to ‘check in’ to the brewery while you are at it.
The photo with the most authentic ‘likes’ or reactions by the conclusion of Labor Day Monday will yield an original brew crafted by the Gibb’s team, named after your dog and featuring marketing art of your favorite pooch. Your dog’s photo must include #dogsofgibbs in the description in order to be counted, and the winner of the contest will be notified via his/her social media page. Says brewery owner Mark Gibb, “We’re combining two of the best things in life, dogs and beer.”
Featured in our contest art is Breck, a six-month-old Red Fox Lab owned by customer Jack Barnhardt.
