Enter to Win $250 in Triad Goodwill’s DIY Ugly Holiday Sweater Contest Deadline Extended to Noon on Mon., December 5

ugly-sweater-webGreensboro, N.C. – Triad Goodwill has extended the entry deadline for their DIY Ugly Holiday Sweater Contest! They want to make the holiday season fun and happy for Triad families and you could win the first place prize of $250! Entries are being accepted through noon on Monday, December 5, 2016 via email or Facebook Messenger. See complete rules at to enter. The public will then be invited to vote by “liking” their favorite sweaters on the Triad Goodwill Facebook page until December 16, which just happens to be National Ugly Holiday Sweater Day! The winner will be the entry with the most Facebook “likes” at 4:00 p.m. on December 16, 2016.

Prizes are:

1st Place: $250 VISA gift card

2nd Place: $100 Triad Goodwill gift card

3rd Place: $50 Triad Goodwill gift card

Ugly sweaters can have a Christmas, Hanukkah, New Year’s or general winter theme. To be eligible to win, sweater designers can create their one-of-a-kind look with materials from any of the departments at Triad Goodwill’s 21 stores in Alamance, Caswell, Guilford, Randolph and Rockingham Counties in North Carolina. Entries must include receipts showing at least 75% of the items used to create the Ugly Sweater were purchased at Triad Goodwill stores.
