moe.rons unite! Your heroes are performing at the Carolina Theatre Thursday night. Short on cash, but still in the mood for some face-melting guitars? Check out Sam Robinson and Five Gallon Groove at the Blind Tiger.

If you didn’t catch Brother Jocephus & the Love Revolution Revival Orchestra at the Blind Tiger in January, this Friday is your shot at some blissful Naw’lins redemption. Ed E. Ruger and the Iconoclast Crew will take over the Triad at the Somewhere Else Tavern, while 500 Miles to Memphis, Pierce Eden & the Dirty Work and Evelyn Rose are at the Garage. At the Green Bean, the creepily named Secret Massage Machine and Sea of Dogs do the folk-ish thing.

It’s time to Save the Monkeywhale at the Blind Tiger once again, but there’s little lineup info out there. Not a fan of original music? See the most ultimatest Journey tribute with Frontiers at Greene Street Club. The Garage gives you Ned Van Go, Girls, Guns & Glory, and 44 Love. Fresh off of legal troubles, Early Morning Warning plays the Aquarius Music Hall. The Carrier and Advent are at Legitimate Business, while the Flatiron give you the Old 1-2, Red Snapper and Dylan Gilbert.

Hometown Boys kick off the Sunday open mic night at the Blind Tiger, while Saosin performs with Maylene & the Sons of Disaster, the Demonstration and Eldora at Greene Street Club. There’s a Cystic Fibrosis Benefit at the Garage, sans lineup however.

Tuesday features local band night with Dopapod at the Blind Tiger, while rapper Brandon D heads up a huge bill at Greene Street Club. Last, but definitely not least, sip champagne when you’re thirst-ay while celebrating Biggie’s birthday with DJ

Yona, DJ 84, DJSK and L in Japanese at Studio B.
