On Thursday, Tampa jam band Cope hits the Blind Tiger, and fans of dreadful music with a desperate need to belong flock to the Greensboro Coliseum for Winter Wonder Slam, featuring TobyMac and Skillet.

Braveyoung returns from a mini-tour with Pygmy Lush at Legitimate Business, while Yank Yer Blue Jeans does the pantsing at the Green Bean. The Garage hosts Caleb Caudle & the Bayonets with guests Josh Roberts & the Hinges and the Lake Isle, while the Piedmont Chamber Singers perform Ceremony of Carols at Ardmore Baptist Church. There’s more holiday music, as the Greensboro Symphony Orchestra puts on their Holiday Concert at the Greensboro Coliseum.

This Saturday, the Green Bean holds the release party for UNCG’s arts magazine the Coraddi, while Purrrlesque! Whoville does Christmas, the dirty version with Megan Jean and the Klay Family Band at the Blind Tiger.
