Charlotte quartet Pradigy GT mix guitars and flows like the Knux and the Roots, and they’re at the Blind Tiger tonight with hip-hop acts Uprite Lions and Syn Savvy. For the scream kids, there’s I See Stars with Stick to Your Guns, Memphis May Fire, etc. at Greene Street Club.

On Thursday, jazz/pop songwriter Devon Elizabeth visits the Green Bean with Georgia rock-and-roller Carey Murdock doing his solo thing, while Donna the Buffalo rustle the herd to the Blind Tiger.

It’s pickin’ time at the Garage on Friday with the Farewell Drifters and Mandolin Orange, and the outstanding Chapel Hill indie rockers Birds & Arrows play the Green Bean with locals Emily Stewart & the Baby Teeth. DJ BL3ND rocks the Chucky mask and the party at Artistika, while Dreamkiller headlines the first annual Skirt Flirt Bash at the Blind Tiger with Giving Up Nevada and Tragic Donna. I give the Chairmen of the Board just little more time after the departure of Danny Woods, and they’re playing Ziggy’s, while country songwriter Jonathan Byrd visits Community Arts Café.

The rock starts at 3 p.m. on Saturday at Greene Street Club for the Pat Langdale cancer fundraiser with nine bands. Folk songwriter Kyle Lindley plays the Green Bean with Talk Show Hosts, while country singer Connor Christian hits the Garage. Mack and Mack hosts Asheville Americana quintet Dehlia Low, while Yadkin River Theory bring red-clay rock to the Flatiron.

2010 inductees to the Onion AV Club’s “Year in Band Names: Animal Category” To Speak of Wolves return home to play Greene Street Club with too many other bands worth naming here. Electro-folk trio Wavvy Hands play the Green Bean with Marissa Kay and Old Rusty Mandolin. VH1’s second annual Save the Music show goes down at the Blind Tiger, and millionaire cover band Badfish play you-knowwhat at Ziggy’s with Scotty Don’t.

Jews and Catholics get down with Honey Rider and Miss Eaves at Ziggy’s on Monday, while two great shows have merged into one awesome show on Tuesday as WUAG and WQFS present experimental pop quintet Twin Sister with the amazing Future Islands, Ava Luna and Ed Schrader’s Music Beat at the Blind Tiger. There’s stoner-sludge by Jucifer with Uzzard and the Plow at Greene Street Club, and the infinitely catchy Bad Weather California come to the Garage with Drunken Prayer.
