Farenheit Kollectiv – 313 S. Greene St., Suite 201 (across from Carolina Theatre) Celebrate the Grand Opening celebration for Farenheit Kollectiv, a new full style salon and enjoy beautiful art by Tristan Miller, featuring Japanese style ink works.

Green Hill Center for NC Art – 200 N. Davie St. (Greensboro Cultural Center) The modern dancers of the Jan Van Dyke Dance Group will perform a short concert of works designed for the gallery space. Also on view is the Word Maps exhibition: Four artists whose work investigates relationships between printed texts and our contemporary visual environment. Refreshments served.

Mack and Mack – 220 S. Elm St. Mack and Mack, Downtown’s fashion design studio, will have an open house with refreshments and featuring music by the F-Art Ensemble. These remarkable musicians perform pure improvisation, and the results are amazing and unusual. Come early or come late, there will be music unlike anything you have ever heard.

The Studio and Gallery – 109 Cedar St. “Reincarnated”. Artwork and home decor focused on rebirth,rebuilding and repetition. Featured artists: Carolyn Owen, Carol Hunter, Ron Curlee and Rugs by ABU. Refreshments provided by Debborah Moss & Chef Crispino.

WINSTON-SALEM/TRADE STREET Downtown Arts District; 6th , Trade and Liberty streets Evenings are cooler now- a great time to come out and meet artists and show some love for the local art and artists! Plan to stop in galleries for artist receptions, visit studios and enjoy a lovely evening in the Downtown Art District- Where Art Lives! Streets are closed with parking available in surrounding parking lots. Artist Receptions, artist demonstrations, live music, dancing, entertainment and more!

Artworks Gallery – 564 N. Trade S. Artworks Gallery presents a two-person exhibit of handmade paper collages by E. Faye Collins and oil paintings by Lucy Spencer.
