Beginning Thursday, City Arts and 3 rd Stage Theatre Company present “The Complete History of America” at City Arts Studio Theatre at 8 p.m. The show runs through Sunday with 2 p.m. matinees on Saturday and Sunday. For ticket info, call 336.272.0160. On Friday and Saturday, Reasons2Rhyme presents the “MoSoul Poetry Festival” at Festival Park in Greensboro. The two-day festival will feature 10 poets from around the country. The festival kicks off Friday at 2:30 p.m. as poets perform for children at local recreation centers, including Glenwood, Craft, Windsor, Warnersville and the Glenwood Library. On Saturday, the main performance will be held at Festival Park, located at 200 N. Davie St., from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Live music, food and vendors will be on hand. The MoSoul Poetry Festival is free and open to the public. And finally, the Carolina Theatre Summer Film Festival continues this week with a screening of the 1978 remake of Invasion of the Body Snatchers on Wednesday, the 1977 Academy Award-winning Annie Hall on Thursday and the Alfred Hitchcock suspense thriller, Psycho, on Monday night.
