It was previously owned by Ann and Win Milam, who ran the bed and breakfast from 1998 to 2007 and otherwise completed a full-scale restoration of the home. Built at the turn of the century, the Harden Thomas Martin House is one of only a handful of surviving examples of Colonial Revival style architecture in Greensboro, and it was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985. It has been known as “Double Oaks” for the two sprawling White Oaks that frame the front yard, both over 200 years old.

The new owners are looking forward to opening the doors of this well-known Greensboro gem to residents and visitors alike. More information can be found on the website, www.double-oaks.com.
