(Level Cross, NC) The world renown Hot Rod Power Tour will make a special lunchtime stop at Petty’s Garage on Friday, June 15. The Tour, now in its 24th year, is the largest traveling car show in the world featuring over 6,000 vehicles each year. There will be free entry and food trucks on site.
Hot Rod Power Tour is coming here to NASCAR King Richard Petty’s Garage
“We are excited that the Hot Rod Power Tour is coming here to Petty’s Garage because it will heighten awareness for what we do, and give the public a first-hand look at some of the King’s historic race cars, as well as a full complement of special design vehicles,” said Tim Harrison Mobile Tour & Transportation Manager.
Some of the Petty’s Garage cars on display will include the 2018 PG2 Challenger, the 2018 R&D Camaro SS, the 2018 Track King Wide Body Mustang, and a 2018 Ford F-250 edition by Kelderman Trucks. Petty’s Garage, a high performance speed shop, was founded by NASCAR legend Richard Petty in 2008 as a way to offer car enthusiasts a wide selection of custom built vehicles. It occupies the same building where Richard first learned how to work on his Father Lee’s race cars over 60 years ago.
