Kids First Saturdays and the ECO Bus at the Greensboro Farmers Curb Market Nov. 5

Greensboro, NC – Kids First Saturdays returns to the Market on Saturday, November 5th at 10am to 10:30 am. Learn about the rainbow of foods with a color scavenger hunt with Beth McKinney of Spears YMCA. Free for Kids Ages 6-12. The Market will also provide five dollars in “Kids Coins” to children enrolled in the Guilford County Free or Reduced Lunch Program. These coins can be redeemed at the Market following the conclusion of a fun educational session. Pre-registration is required. Register by email at gfmassistant@gmail.com or during Market Hours at the Manager’s Desk.

In addition, the ECO Bus will be parked in the Lindsey Street parking lot next to the Lawn. Hop on board and learn about animals of the Piedmont, enjoy story time and explore the world of birds, snakes, and animals of all kinds. An environmental education specialist will help kids learn about the fury and scaly friends on the bus.  The Eco Bus will be on site from 9 am- 12 noon.

Location and Hours of Operation: The Greensboro Farmers Curb Market, 501 Yanceyville Street, is located at the corner of Lindsey Street and Yanceyville Street across from the War Memorial Stadium and operates year round on Saturdays 7 am to 12 pm and seasonally on Wednesday 8 am- 1 pm (April 20 – Dec. 28).
