local talent

Brett Claywell — actor

If you’re one who spends daylight hours in front of your stories, then you might recognize this week’s Page Three model, Brett Claywell, as “Kyle Lewis,” the openly gay medical student on ABC’s “One Life to Live.” It’s a crazy storyline, with a love triangle, a paternity angle and plenty of steamy intrigue. But Greensboroans may recognize Claywell from his high school days, where he lettered in basketball, cross-country and soccer at Dudley High School. Claywell, who has also had roles on “One Tree Hill” and “Dollhouse,” currently plays in the Hollywood E-League basketball league, with a cast of rotating celebrities including Justin Timberlake and Snoop Dogg. But he still remembers that he got his start playing a redneck skunk in a Greensboro Children’s Theatre production of Winnie the Pooh.
