Renica Greene modeling coach, business owner

Most people will assert that you must be tall and slim to find work as a model.

Renica Greene, owner of Profile Talent, isn’t most people. She started her business after noticing the need to groom models that didn’t fit a certain mold. “I saw so many models with great potential being overlooked by big agencies because of their lack of experience,” says Greene. Since Feb. 2010, she has helped 24 male and female models walk away with portfolios, extensive resumes and fashionshow experience to increase their chances of being successful. Greene, a NC A&T University graduate, has experience with both print and promotional modeling. She offers her expertise through her Model Academy classes, a 10-week course taught by industry veteran Chanina Stanback. Greene’s students have done work for NASCAR, Quiznos, Crocs, Hennessy Black and 579, to name a few. “The best parts of the job are the events, helping the models and inspiring them to promote.” For more information, call 336.255.6152 or visit
