ANOTHER NEW BISCUITVILLE COMING TO WINSTON-SALEM
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (JUNE 28, 2018) – Biscuitville FRESH SOUTHERN® , a local family-owned restaurant known for its authentic, Southern-style breakfasts and lunches, will construct a new restaurant at 2145 Peters Creek Parkway in the Parkway Plaza Shopping Center. The new Biscuitville will be built on the site of the former Allegacy Federal Credit Union building, which will be demolished within days. Biscuitville will close its restaurant at 2125 Silas Creek Parkway across from Forsyth Tech when the new site opens, and employees will be given the opportunity to transfer to the new location.
Peters Creek Parkway Biscuitville to Replace Silas Creek Parkway Restaurant
“Biscuitville is in the midst of an exciting growth phase, particularly in the Winston-Salem area. The new Peters Creek Parkway location comes on the heels of our new restaurant openings in Walkertown and on University Parkway,” said Biscuitville President Kathie Niven. “Our new Peters Creek Parkway restaurant design is warm and welcoming, providing a comfortable dining experience where our guests will feel right at home and will feature a drive-thru lane with two menu boards to better serve our guests. All of our new restaurants are being built on Biscuitville’s foundation of serving fresh, locally sourced, scratch-made food.”
Niven said the new Peters Creek Parkway Biscuitville is scheduled to open late October 2018. As part of the new restaurant design, Biscuitville also has updated and expanded its biscuit window, which allows guests to view the biscuit making process. This feature is so iconic to Biscuitville’s brand, the company proudly posts in front of its biscuit makers Home of the Biscuit Window Since 1966™.” The new restaurant design also opens up the front counter areas to create better views of the cooks and encourage interaction between team members and guests.
Additional highlights of the new restaurant design for Biscuitville include:
- Exterior features that resemble a reclaimed Southern barn, with a tin roof, barn doors, stone walls and gooseneck lights
- Interior features that combine a modern look and feel with Old South heritage through industrial hardware, blue painted porch ceilings inspired by Southern porches and mixed materials like wood, metal and tile
- Large photos and artwork that capture scenes of the local neighborhood and community
- New cushioned seating
- An enhanced beverage area with expanded drink options including Salisbury-based Cheerwine®
