The concert on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at 7:30 pm, in Reynolds Auditorium, will take you back to the 1920’s in major cities around the world like Berlin, Paris, Chicago, and more. Music will include works by Kurt Weill, Jacques Offenbach, Dmitri Shostakovich, and others that contributed to this colorful genre of music.

Of this concert Troy said, “This concert will transport you back to the gilded age where you will find an amazing juxtaposition of light and shadow. The music of this era is absolutely infectious with its jaunty rhythms, blurry and bluesy harmonies, and seductive melodies. You will be enchanted!”

Tickets for Cabaret Around the World are available at the door, online at, or by calling (336) 721-1945.

The Piedmont Wind Symphony will host A Night at the Cabaret Gala linked to the concert. The fundraiser event will be held on Friday, January 27th from 6:30-10:00 PM at the Old Town Club, located at 2875 Old Town Club Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27106.
