Plant 64 Opens in Winston-Salem
Anyone looking to live in the trendy section of downtown Winston-Salem now has one more option.
Plant 64, a 242-loft apartment complex located in the city’s Wake Forest Innovation Quarter, began renting to tenants July 1 with the first 21 units. Leasing consultant Joseph Boyles said the next set of units are set to be leased August 25 and it will include two and three-bedroom units. All units will be leased by December 15, he said, and rent will range from $885 to $1800 per month.
We’ll take anyone who qualifies, Boyles said when asked what demographic they target.
Amenities include a seasonal pool, indoor basketball court, sundeck, outdoor theater/bistro and a business center.
Complex 64, as it was once known, dates back to 1916 when it was part of the RJ Reynolds tobacco industry. It has been redeveloped and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
