PUBLIC MEETINGS TO BE HELD ON SELECTION OF NEXT CHIEF The city of Greensboro will hold three public meetings to gather input on selection criteria to be used in choosing the next police chief. The first two meetings will take place on May 10, from noon to 1 p.m. at the Greensboro Coliseum Special Events Center and from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Lewis Recreation Center. The third meeting will be held at Barber Park on May 11 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Residents may also weigh in on the selection of the next chief by filling out a survey at www.greensboro-nc. gov/Survey.

The current chief, Tim Bellamy, has said he will retire by the end of the year.
