Senior Services and Local Partners Rolling Out AdvantAge Initiative Survey

(Last Updated On: October 20, 2016)

Residents asked to share their thoughts on aging in Forsyth County

Winston-Salem, NC – Senior Services in collaboration with Forsyth Futures and other local partners will be conducting a telephone survey to learn more about quality of life perspectives in Forsyth County. Responses from the survey will help inform program planning and initiatives centered around making Forsyth County an aging-friendly community.

Beginning in October, residents aged 60 and older may be receiving a phone call by a national research company, identified as “Forsyth Aging Survey” on the caller ID. Interviewers will ask a series of questions to gauge thoughts and views about how the community could improve and be more “aging-friendly.” Senior Services, Forsyth Futures, and other local partners are urging residents to answer the call and complete the survey. Responses will remain completely confidential and the survey will take roughly thirty minutes to complete. If needed, the survey can be paused and resumed at later times.

For more information regarding the survey please contact Kristen Perry with Senior Services Inc. at 336-721-6959 or Theresa Hoffman-Makar with Forsyth Futures at 336-701-1700×103.
