Southern Charm at Tanglewood Park planned for April 28
Tanglewood Park is excited to host Southern Charm once again this spring! The largest collaboration of vintage, handcrafted and repurposed artisans in the southeast will be held Sat., April 28, 2018 from 9AM-5PM.
Southern Charm boasts over 250, mainly local, vendors. Each vendor is hand-picked to ensure the highest quality of items. Shoppers can expect to see everything from hand-painted furniture and hand-sewn clothing, to jewelry, vintage/antique decor and hand-carved wood pieces.
In addition to unique vendors, Southern Charm will have the following food vendors: Baconessance, Boone Doggies, Chick-Fil-A Clemmons, Food Freaks, Mojito Mobile, Munchie Wagon, Porterhouse Burgers, Rock N Grill, Shaved ParadICE, The Dawghouse, Wings N Fins, and Wired! Cafe Coffee Bus. There will also be other local food items for sale.
The Del-Ray Brothers will provide live music. This is an alcohol-free event and is family friendly. Parking is free and tickets are $5. Tickets may be purchased online at Eventbrite or at the door. Large crowds are expected, so early arrival and pre-purchased tickets are recommended.
Southern Charm hosted its first show in the Fall of 2015 at a small bed and breakfast in Walnut Cove, North Carolina. After two successful shows in Walnut Cove the owner, Allison Dahl of Dahlias Floral Design, decided to bring the event home to Forsyth County. The 2016 Fall show was held at Wilstella Farm in Kernersville, North Carolina. Outgrowing that venue in just one show, Dahl chose to move to Tanglewood Park. Last year’s Spring event attracted an estimated 8,500 shoppers.
A portion of ticket sales will be donated to Hospice and the Dragonfly House.
