The Katharine Brasserie & Bar to Host Party on the Patio Event to Benefit The Enrichment Center
WINSTON-SALEM, NC – The Katharine Brasserie & Bar, located adjacent to the Kimpton Cardinal Hotel in the historic R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company building in downtown Winston-Salem, will host a Party on the Patio on Saturday, May 19 from 3 p.m. until 10 p.m. to benefit Winston-Salem’s The Enrichment Center. The Party on the Patio will feature live music, special food and a specialty cocktail created by bar staff from The Katharine.
The Enrichment Center uses an arts-based program to empower and enrich adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, enabling them to grow as individuals, live with dignity and have choices in how they fulfill their lives. Artwork created by participants at The Enrichment Center will be on display in The Katharine’s bar area during the Party on the Patio. All proceeds from artwork sales will go to The Enrichment Center as well as 10 percent of restaurant and bar sales during the event.
“The Party on the Patio promises to be a fun afternoon and evening that will benefit a tremendously important local nonprofit organization,” Michael Harris, The Katharine’s director of food & beverage, said. “We’ve been planning this event in partnership with The Enrichment Center for a while and are pleased the party is ready to begin in just a few weeks.”
Harris said the Party on the Patio also will be the debut of several new amenities for The Katharine’s patio area, which is located on the outside plaza on the north side of the restaurant. The Katharine’s new patio amenities include string lights, new tables and chairs, life-size and table top games, and new lush landscaping.
Reservations are not required to attend the Party on the Patio. Other reservations for The Katharine can be made at TheKatharineBrasserie.com or by calling The Katharine at 336.761.0203.
